Crizlassic Productions Presents: Common Threads

The mission of Crizlassic Productions is to bring real stories to light in a creative and inspiring way. We seek to tell stories inspired by real life experiences, while also inspiring growth in everyday living.​

 

"Common Threads" is a web series that originates from a project entitled "Epic Day". While originally written and produced as a film, "Epic Day" evolved into a mini-series that we released in January. The series was met with great local reviews and has gained a small cult following. However, in order to really make this project a dynamic and lasting series, we decided to start from scratch and revamp the series.

 

This is an ensemble driven story about a group of former high school friends and foes who find themselves back home in the fictional suburb of Trewick. These people, now in their mid-twenties, are now forced to deal with unresolved personal issues and complex relationships that have been avoided for several years, while also figuring out how to move forward.

 

The pilot season of "Common Threads" premiered last fall, and consisted of 4 episodes. The follow up season is currently in production, with an expected release to fall in the month of July. 

 

The cast and locations are primarily based in Northern NJ and NYC.
